Pre season home game vs Stratford Town

Our first game at our new home against a good Stratford Town side.
Sophia made her debut today and fitted in really well with the team which was great to see.
We talked before the game about trying to pass the ball more, try and keep possession of the ball and create movement in our play.
I feel the girls did well with all these tasks and it bodes well for the season ahead.
Lacey scored our first goal after some good footwork to make space for her shot.
We played some nice football with lots of passing which was really encouraging to see. Elysia scored our second goal with a great run and shot, and was unlucky not to score more on the day. Some great goalkeeping from Stratford denied Layla, Sophia, Lacey, Mona and Emma from adding to our score.
Captain Peyton and Amalia shared the defending duties and can be proud of their performances.
Erin, Myanna, Jess and Hazel all contributed well to the team and worked really hard for each other ! Well done !
Bella made some good saves during the game and kicked well when we needed her to.
